This is a cast aluminum disc, not a cork circle you lose behind the fruit bowl. At 100mm it’s sized for a rocks glass or a small carafe, and the weight of it means you notice when you set it on the table, not because it wobbles but because it feels like an object someone made on purpose. The rim rises just enough to catch condensation off a cold glass before it reaches the wood. Matte finish hides fingerprints and water spots better than anything polished. It cleans up with a wipe, no coaster smell, no cardboard fuzz stuck to the bottom of your glass after a humid night. Buy four or six. They stack.

Every point is a price this site read on the maker's own page on the day shown. It is not a market low, and it is not scraped from a price tracker — it is only what we have seen ourselves. Today's price is the lowest we've recorded.

What cooks are saying
  • 01Cooks who buy tabletop gear notice weight first, before finish or color
  • 02People switch from cork or felt once they see how condensation actually behaves on cast metal
  • 03Buyers tend to order in sets rather than one at a time
Why the pros use it

I buy this because it does the one job a coaster has without acting like it's decoration. Cast aluminum holds its shape after years of use, doesn't warp from a wet glass left too long, and the finish doesn't stain the way pale cork does. It's the kind of small object that tells you someone thought about the table before they set it.
